Lelandra's Writings
The photo above was from Jubilee Olde English Faire in June 2000.
While I was a stay-at-home mom, I did quite a bit of writing on the subject of Tarot. When my son went to school, I retrained as a massage therapist. I spent the first couple of years after graduation simply building my practice, and not writing much. In 2008, I began doing more writing again. However, my subject has shifted now to the area of Health and Wellness. I have two projects I am working on now:
- Gluten Free Root and Leaf: Home Cooking for the Cap'n Crunch Generation (a wiki cookbook - 11/7/08 - link killed because spammers destroyed the wiki - I don't know if it will be put back online or not yet)
- Bodywork Healing Modalities (a collection of articles about massage and bodywork modalities)
On the subject of Tarot...
Print Publications
- An article on RWS (Rider-Waite-Smith) Variations in Llewellyn's 2005 Tarot Reader (North American Release August 2004)
- Devouring Kitsch: Image Collecting and Cultural Appropriation in Lupa's anthology Talking about the Elephant: An Anthology of Neopagan Perspectives on Cultural Appropriation (Immanion Press/Megalithica Books, 2008)

About Me
Spiritually, I am a cognitive practitioner and contemplative, and have been working with the Tarot since 1983. Though my journey began with books by Merlin Stone, Barbara Walker, Zsuzsanna Budapest, Starhawk, Marion Weinstein, Judy Chicago, and Mary Daly in the early 1980's, it wasn't long before Eris intervened and Illuminatus! and R.A.W. warped my worldview. My path took a more hermetic direction for the several years, before turning in the direction of healing traditions. I am currently interested in the role of massage, bodywork and bonesetting and their role in traditional western medicine (as opposed to the youthful orthodox mechanical medicine tradition currently at the top of the heap).
